Squad Formation Basics

Understanding squad formations is crucial for maximizing your combat power in Last War.

Troop Types

Last War has three main troop types:

Type	Color	Strengths	Weaknesses
Tank	🟠 Orange	High HP, defensive	Lower damage
Air	🔵 Blue	High damage, glass cannon	Low HP
Infantry	🟢 Green	Balanced, versatile	No specialization

Formation Bonuses

Matching heroes with the correct troop type provides significant bonuses:

• Attacker heroes boost damage
• Defender heroes boost survivability
• Support heroes provide utility and healing

Basic Squad Templates

Tank Squad (Defensive)

Best for: Defending positions, absorbing damage

Air Squad (Offensive)

Best for: Maximum burst damage, quick strikes

Infantry Squad (Balanced)

Best for: All-around performance, newer players
